First small steps to start with mentorship:

  1. Look in your community and find the people you admire and respect in real life and close proximity.

  2. Ask them “hey! Do you think you’d have time to go get coffee with me?”

  3. If they say “yes,” start by asking them questions about their life.

  4. At coffee, start conversation about making this more frequent and admiring their wisdom and input.
